89% fall in ad spend on Pirate Sites in Europe, thanks to PBI efforts

Summary

Project Brand Integrity's (PBI) continuous effort in actively combatting ad-support piracy has yet again paid off.

In the second annual report, 86% of brands (and their agencies) who were approached by PBI reduced their monthly ad impressions on IP-infringing site in 2022. This equates to a 7% improvement over previous years. As a result, pirate sites saw a huge fall in ad spend - 89% to be exact.PBI2023KeyFinding.001
